Difference between BP96-00224A and BP96-00224C

We receive a lot of phone call of Samsung customers asking for replacement lamps for Samsung DLP TV's
Some models of Samsung DLP projections TV uses two different types of lamps that's because in the middle of the production line Samsung was forced to switch to another lamp manufacturer, the problem now is the customer don't know what is the correct lamp and in most cases no one know with exact precision what lamp is inside each TV
To add clarification about this matter we have posted some pictures of the lamps to easy know what lamp you need order
Both lamp are exactly the same with same bulb, specification and performance the only difference is the connector. the old model (BP96-00224A) use a rectangular shape connector and the new models (BP96-00224C / BP96-00224E) use a separate two pin connector
To add a little more confusion a this matter Samsung charge again the part number from
BP96-00224C to BP96-00224J
The new BP96-00224J is a direct substitute of the BP96-00224C / BP96-00224E and physically is the same lamp
Both Lamps are used in the following models of Samsung DLP TV's HLM4365W, HLM437W, HLM5065W, HLM507W, HLM507WX, HLN4365W, HLN4365WX, HLN437W, HLN5065W, HLN5065WX, HLN507W, HLM617W, HLN437W1X, HLN467W, HLN467WX, HLN567W, HLN617W, HLN617WX, HLN617XAA, HLP4674W, HLP5674W
