We received a lot of emails every day from our customers asking for Runco Lamps. Runco doesn't allow to independent distributors sell their lamps. We don't carry original Runco Lamps. If you need a replacement lamp our suggestion is contact Runco directly, always try to buy originals replacement first. If they don't have the lamp come back to us and we will resolve your problem. What we do ? If the original lamp is hard to get or not available we start a research to locate a compatible bulb between the nearly 1000 types of lamps we have in stock or in some cases we can order directly to the bulb manufacturer.

What I need to do ?

In all cases you need send the old lamp assembly to us. we will re-use the old cage and replaced the bulb with a new compatible one and return it to you.

How much will cost it ?

We can't answer that question until we get your old lamp in ours hands. but average cost run between $250 to $550 it depend of the cost of the replacement compatible bulb, and as general rule It will cost to you the price of the compatible bulb plus $50 fee to cover our research time.

What about the life of a compatible lamp ?

In most cases the life is the same as the original, in other cases is better than the original because in some cases we use a new generation compatible lamp.

What about the warranty ?

We offer a 90 day warranty in all Lamps.

How long will it take to receive my lamp ?

It depend of the availability of the compatible lamp, if we have it in stock you can expect a return in the same day, if we need to order it, the delay time can be up to 10 days.

Can you tell me what lamp is compatible with my projector ?

No, until now, we don't have a exact cross-reference with Runco Lamps, you need to send the old lamp to us to check specifications, bulb manufacturer, type and physical size to finally locate a compatible one.

Lamps are items not returnable, if your projector doesn't turn on and you are not sure if the problem is the Lamp, please send your projector to us for evaluation, if the problem is the lamp we will replaced it at no extra charge and plus we will give 90 days warranty on the lamp. If the problem is not the lamp you will received an estimate of the repair work with the exact part your projector needs

The effective cooling of your projector is crucial for trouble free operation and a long projector life. Dust filters need to be cleaned regularly to ensure that the projector is properly ventilated and does not overheat. This is vital to the life of both projector and lamp.

Always read the User Manual of your unit for detailed Instructions about the maintenance.
The interval required between each cleaning of the dust filter is dependent on the projector usage, as well as the operating environment. Naturally, extended use or a dusty environment will necessitate more frequent cleaning. The rule of thumb is about once every 3 months but at least every 200 operating hours. Problems resulting from allowing the filters to become clogged can include one or more of the following temporary or permanent problems:

• Poor image quality and/or uniformity.

• A "Hotspot" in the middle of a projected image caused by an overheated LCD module.

• Lamp fusing or shortened lamp life.

• A burning smell caused by the optical engine melt down.

• A temporary or permanent projector shutdown caused by an overheated temperature safety switch or a repeatedly over-heated power supply.
