I have a black screen, does that mean my panel needs to be replaced?

No. In most cases, a black screen indicates failure of the backlight or high voltage inverter circuit, in rare cases both, normally we repair it to COMPONENT LEVEL and don't need any board replacement but in some special cases specific components are not available and board replacement are required. How can I tell if my screen needs to be replaced?

The flat panel is the most expensive item to replace, and in some cases, may exceed the value of the unit. Fortunately, they are a lot more rugged than you might think and only a small percentage (10%) require panel replacement. Most defective panels will have obvious physical damage.

Cracked or broken panels obviously need replacement. Other signs of a defective panel is a line or groups of lines that run the length or width of the panel. Problems of this type can be repaired about 50% of the time without incurring the cost of a new panel. And in cases where it can not be repaired, we will notify you to discuss options and acquire authorization for repair completion.

How affordable is it to repair my flat panel?

We are able to repair approximately 95% of the monitors we receive without costly panel replacement. You may contact us or submit an email addressing the problem your flat panel has, and a technician will inform you if the panel is a likely suspect. To expedite our response, please describe your flat panel problems in detail.

What is the turnaround time on repairs?

5 to 7 business days after receipt of the unit. Customers will be notified if more time is required.

How do I ship it to you safely?

Use the original packaging if possible, otherwise put in an oversized box with plenty of packing material for shock absorption and use UPS or FedEx so you can track it. Be sure to include all paperwork completely filled out, printed from our website.

How will you ship it back?

In original packaging if suitable, otherwise in an oversized box, with plenty of packing material via UPS ground (unless otherwise stated at an additional shipping cost).
