Sharp Introduces LC-45G1H AQUOS 45V-Inch Digital
High-Definition TV, the Industry's Largest LCD Model with a 45V-Inch

State-of-the-art Innovation of the Kameyama Plant
This LCD panel is developed in Sharp's Kameyama Plant in Japan. It is the
world's first integrated LCD TV production facility that manages the entire
manufacturing process from LCD panel produdction to final product assembly.
The unique plant marks a milestone in LCD TV production in the industry in
terms of product quality and functionality. Its successful development of
the new LC-45G1H AQUOS 45V-Inch Digital High-Definition LCD TV signified the
plant's remarkable achievement. With an investment of over 100 billion Yen,
and a site area reaches 330,000 m2, the state-of-the-art production facility
commenced operation in January, 2004. This plant utilises the world's first
6th generation large-format 1,800 × 1,500-mm substrates, and its production
capacity reaches 27,000 LCD panels and 100,000 large-screen LCD TV panels
per month.

Innovative new products continue to reinforce Sharp's market leader position
Sharp has been leading the industry in the manufacture of LCD panels with
excellent picture quality since its development of the world's first 14-inch
TFT colour LCD in 1988. Sharp introduced 28-inch, 30V-inch and 37V-inch LCD
TV from 2001 to 2003. Following that, Sharp released new lines of G-series
AQUOS LCD TVs in August 2004, including the largest 37V-inch line, and the
newly launched 26-inch and 32V-inch models. Building on a series of product
rollouts, Sharp continues to be a market leader in the LCD panel industry.
Perfect pictures, sharp images
The new AQUOS LC-45G1H uses the industry's largest LCD panel. The display
features a 6.22 million-dot panel - the highest-level resolution in the
industry. As terrestrial digital TV broadcasting begins and coverage areas
expand, the LC-45G1H panel will enable users to enjoy perfect HDTV
broadcasts on a high-definition large screen.
The brand new AQUOS "G" Series is equipped with Sharp's proprietary Advanced
Super View Black TFT LCD panels and the enhanced AQUOS platform to deliver
real HDTV high-resolution images, and has achieved the world's highest
resolution with superb quality picture.
Slim design to match users' discerning taste
The breathtaking 45V-inch large-screen AQUOS LCD TV, features impressive
slim design. The dimensions of the display is 8.65cm (depth) x 108.4cm
(width), and weighs only 30.5 kg, which is the most space-saving model in
the market, a perfect fit to Hong Kong's living environment. Users can
install this 45V-inch model to accommodate a wide range of room
configurations, enhancing any space with its stylish presentation.
Dynamic, richly detailed audio reproduction
The 45V-inch display enjoys high audio quality, thanks to Sharp's
proprietary 1-Bit digital amplifier, self-enclosed aluminum speaker
cabinets, and Virtual Dolby® Digital system. In addition, the built-in
speaker grilles employ a stainless steel material with an extra-high
aperture ratio, combining a freshness of design with clear, natural audio
reproduction.
Environmentally friendly design sets an example for the industry
The LC-45G1H continues the superb environmental performance that users have
come to expect from the AQUOS series. The new display features a long
service life of approximately 60,000 hours. LC-45G1H features an
environmentally conscious design with the adoption of recycled materials,
fully in accordance of environment requirements. Sharp enjoys world
leadership in flat panel LCD display in terms of display quality and
environmental performance.
